Cassie | Project Director

Cassie joined NICE in 2007 from a very different background to events but soon discovered she’d found her niche.  Since then she has covered everything from sourcing training rooms to onsite management of large scale conferences and incentives and has loved building up strong working relationships with her clients.  In 2013 Cassie became a Director of NICE.  When she isn’t busy organising events, Cassie is usually to be found chasing after her young son and enjoying family time…..with the odd glass of prosecco thrown in for good measure!

Darryl | Senior Project Manager

Darryl has been with NICE for 13 years and in the events industry for 26… she started as a young child, obviously! She loves the fine detail of complicated bookings and is at her happiest with a colour co-ordinated spreadsheet!

Her favourite UK venue is the Aviator where nothing is too much trouble and her preferred hotel chain is MacDonald Hotels who always put the client first. Her ideal downtime normally involves a long dog walk, pub lunch and at least one rum and coke.

Lois | Project Manager

Lois joined NICE in 2015. During this time Lois has enjoyed working on a wide variety of events, internationally and in the UK. Her desire to deliver client satisfaction is second to none and she is always looking for exciting new event opportunities.

 She has a love for travel and loves nothing more than exploring new places. Her favourite hotel is the W hotel in Barcelona. What can beat cocktails on the decking overlooking the sandy beach?

Beth | Project Manager

Beth has been working in events since the age of 14, growing up with chefs meant she was introduced to the world of outside catering early on which quickly turned into a passion for event management. Her love for the industry has grown ever since and as all event planners is always relied on to plan nights out & weekends away with friends! At NICE Beth works with a range of clients to help manage projects both in the UK and overseas – she loves nothing more than being on site and seeing an event take place after months of planning!

When not working, Beth can be often found running, planning her next travel adventure or curled up with a blanket, glass of wine and good book!

Nicky & Suzanne | Managing Directors

NICE is 20 years old last year, November 2016, which we feel is quite an achievement!  We put the longevity of the business down to a true dedication to client satisfaction and we have worked tirelessly to make the event planning and delivery process smooth and hassle free for our clients. We hope our clients would agree, one of the key elements to the success of the business, is the trust we have gained from them, they trust us to deliver and the trust has built up over the 20 years resulting in a catalogue of successful events and a wonderful, loyal client base.  The team we work with here at NICE reflect our drive and enthusiasm and they mirror our ‘never say no’ attitude.

When Suzanne is not away attending events or travelling to industry events, she spends time with her son, Max, or having fun with her friends.  She loves a party and cooking up a storm at home. Nicky is more likely to be found in her wellies at the local pub or out walking with her Labradors, Mack and Red

Marnie | Project Manager

Marnie came to Nice in February 2016 from an extensive events and travel industry background.  She has worked closely with one of the major clients at Nice, building up a good rapport with the bookers and working through the challenges the client presents her.  Her super skill is multitasking and great venue knowledge, she is always keen to know about the next best hotel or must visit location.  When Marnie isn’t doing a million things at once she can be found treading the boards of the treadmill or chilling out with a nice glass of red and friends.

Silmara Accounts Manager

Silmara has been with NICE for 10 years, and looks after all of our accounts and finances, she does loves numbers! 

Originally from Brazil, Silmara moved to England over 18 years ago and brought with her a passion for cycling, dancing and jewellery making. When not found crunching numbers in Excel she is spending time with her family or on a special occasion relaxing on a spa day with the other Nice girls! 

Caroline | Accounts

Caroline helps run the accounts department and is therefore very good at making sure we get paid - rather crucial we find. She's also the go to girl when you need someone to stand in the car park in a Hi-Vis jacket for hours

Her favourite venue is the Mandarin Oriental as it offers fab rooms, great staff and is right in the middle of town opposite Harvey Nichols. The best piece of advice she ever received? Prior to being BA crew she was a Caledonian girl on B-Cal and will tell you definitively that: "Tartan doesn't suit everyone.
